OFFERS & DISCOUNTS
The Museum offers a variety of discounts on admissions, and Museum visitors and members also receive special discounts to local establishments through our MoMI Neighborhood Partners.
The Museum participates in a number of discount programs: sign-up for our weekly email to receive information about special promotions and offers, plus the latest news on upcoming screenings, exhibitions, and special events.
DISCOUNTS ON ADMISSIONS
The Museum offers free or discounted general admission in the following ways. Please note: access to special exhibitions is not included.
- Free general admission every Thursday, 2:00–6:00 p.m. (no reservations required)
- Free general admission for New York City teachers with valid ID
- Free general admission for United States active-duty military personnel and veterans with valid ID or service record
- Through December 31, the Museum is partnering with Astoria Food Pantry to benefit our Queens community. Bring in nonperishable food items, gently used coats, or new socks (tags on) to receive 10% off same-day Museum admission!
- Free general admission for New York City families registered with “Cool Culture”
- Free general admission via Culture Pass NYC (must reserve through this system and present a voucher) for NYC public library cardholders
- $3 general admission for visitors with disabilities with the presentation of their half-fare MetroCard, Access-A-Ride ID, or by speaking with a Visitor Services Associate upon arrival
DISCOUNTS FOR MUSEUM MEMBERS
- Free admission to the Museum, including unlimited admission to the Museum’s galleries
- Discounted admission to regular screenings ($7) for Individual, Senior/Student, Family members; ($11) for Classic Members
- A limited number of complimentary tickets to screenings based on level of membership
- A 15% discount on nearby parking at PV Parking Corp (34-11 Steinway Street)
