MUSEUM ADMISSION TICKETS
To help save time when you visit, purchase advance tickets online. Walk-ups are always welcome.
GENERAL ADMISSION
Access to all galleries, including special exhibitions: $10–20 (free for MoMI members)
There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases.
Tickets are released generally one-month prior. Advance ticket purchase is not required; walk-up purchase is welcome.
Free general admission is offered every Thursday, 2:00–6:00 p.m. (no reservations required).
Considering a movie and an exhibition?
For visitors who want to combine a film screening with a visit to the galleries, we recommend purchasing the screening ticket then adding on a gallery visit ($5). This transaction can take place at the time you pick up your screening ticket. Alternately, note that general admission includes a same-day ticket to a regular film screening if one is scheduled, and may be requested first-come, first-served upon arrival (tickets are not guaranteed).
Visiting with a group (ten or more people)?
The Museum welcomes group visits with options for self-guided visits and for tours led by a Museum educator.
Ticket Policies
All sales are final and payments cannot be refunded (but may be transferred to a new date under certain circumstances).
There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases. (Transaction fees are waived for Museum members at the Individual level and above.)
Please pick up your tickets at the Museum’s front desk on the day of your visit. If timed-entry, please arrive within the hour stated on your ticket. If you arrive earlier or later, your ticket is still valid but there may be wait times.
Please note that the Museum offers complimentary tickets to U.S. active-duty military and veterans. See other discounts and offers here.
In the event of a sold-out screening, a standby line will be created and tickets distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can ask at the front desk to be placed on the standby line 30 minutes before the start of the program. Please note that being on the standby line does not guarantee that tickets will be made available.
