Digital Animation: Marvels of Media Workshop

As part of Museum of the Moving Image’s Marvels of Media initiative, autistic visitors and media-makers are welcome to join us for the Digital Animation Workshop. Instructed by artist Pepita Sandwich, this media workshop focuses on creating a digital animation short (between 10 and 20 seconds) that involves the movement of a shape or object. You will put an object in motion, choose the colors, and add sounds or a voice to the scene. Recommended for ages 15 and up.

ABOUT MARVELS OF MEDIA
Marvels of Media is an ongoing initiative and festival that showcases, celebrates, and supports autistic media makers of all ages and skill sets. Throughout the year, autistic visitors will be given guidance and instruction and taught how to express themselves creatively and tell their stories through audiovisual storytelling techniques. For all ages and skill sets, these ongoing media workshops will strengthen the socioemotional skills of autistic participants through puppetry for the screen, filmmaking, digital media, and animation activities.
