A quarter century into a film career unlike any other in American cinema, spanning lo-fi genre mashups and viral shorts to a Robert Pattinson western, adventurous Colorado auteurs David and Nathan Zellner come to MoMI to present a special preview screening of their seventh feature, the uproarious and entirely sincere Sasquatch Sunset; their recently revived, rarely screened cult classic Kumiko the Treasure Hunter; and Paul Newman’s 1971 Sometimes a Great Notion—personally selected by the brothers and an inspiration for their latest.
