This beloved trio of shorts from Aardman Animations introduced the world to the clueless inventor Wallace and his smart, loyal dog, Gromit. Created by Nick Park and animated using clay, the films are laugh-out-loud funny, sending the duo into situations that spiral into mayhem. In A Grand Day Out, a trip to the moon to harvest cheese leads to an encounter with a vaguely hostile lunar guardian. In The Wrong Trousers, celebrating its 30th anniversary, Wallace’s Techno Trousers are hijacked by a criminal penguin and culminates in one of cinema’s most thrilling chase sequences—an astonishing feat of stop-motion animation. In A Close Shave, a bullying dog steals the Knit-O-Matic machine, plotting a sinister end for a flock of sheep, among them a lively little lamb who will become the Aardman superstar Shaun the Sheep!
