Tackling the ideological inscrutability of our contemporary America, a place teeming with crackpots of all stripes and political persuasions, Williams’s picaresque is a vivid showcase for the kind of take-no-prisoners comic skewering increasingly in short supply, featuring terrific supporting performances by Simon Rex, Ayo Edebiri, Jeremy O.
