Each song contains an electrical pulse that passes from one moment to the next, building upon its own momentum until the entire performance lifts off the ground and vibrates on a frenetic, exuberantly joyful frequency. Shot over the course of three nights at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater by Demme and a team of ace cinematographers led by Jordan Cronenweth, Stop Making Sense is considered by many critics the greatest concert film of all time. Restored in 4K to coincide with its 40th anniversary. An A24 Release.
