Dir. Hayao Miyazaki. 1988, 86 mins. DCP. In Japanese with English subtitles. Miyazaki’s most beloved film (called “one of the five best movies ever made for children” by Roger Ebert), My Neighbor Totoro is about two sisters who move to a new country home, and discover a family of Totoros, gentle but powerful creatures seen only by children. 

Tickets: $15 ($11 seniors and students / $7 youth (ages 3–17) / free for children under 3 and Museum members at the Film Lover and Kids Premium levels and above). Order tickets online. (Members may contact [email protected] with questions regarding online reservations.)
