Dir. Lamberto Bava. 1985, 88 min. 35mm. With Natasha Hovey, Michele Soavi, Paolo Cazzo, Urbano Barberini, Karl Zinny. While attending the premiere of a horror movie, friends Cheryl (Hovey) and Kathy (Cazzo) find themselves trapped in the cinema from hell. Reality begins to imitate the film on the screen as members of the audience transform into ravenous demons and go on the rampage. A collaboration by producer Dario Argento and director Lamberto Bava, Demons is a marvel of bloody special effects by two Italian horror maestros that satirizes the idea that the Devil is lurking in every corner of the pop culture young people consume, waiting to corrupt and possess them.

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / free for MoMI members at the Senior/Student level and above. Order tickets. Please pick up tickets at the Museum’s admissions desk upon arrival. All seating is general admission. Review safety protocols before your visit.
