Description
The television set features a white fluorescent mask which surrounds the picture tube.
Historical Note
Throughout the 1950s Sylvania sold a line of Halolight televisions, touted as having an "eye comfort" feature, which used a lighted frame to minimize the contrast between the bright screen and the surrounding cabinetry.
