This event is sold out in the Museum’s main theater. Tickets are available for a simultaneous screening in the 68-seat Bartos Screening Room with a live introduction by the director and post-screening Q&A via simulcast onscreen: $25 public / $15 Museum members (includes access to the pre-screening reception). Tickets available online or at the door from 6:00 p.m. onwards.

In this tremendously popular new Greek film, writer/director Christopher Papakliatis stars as Demetris, a 33-year-old bachelor whose roommate is a female German shepherd called “Lonesome.” One night, after supper, Lonesome wants to be taken out. Demetris tries to change her mind, but Lonesome insists… leading to a decision which could change his entire life. Prior to the screening there will be a reception in the Museum’s lobby catered by STIX Mediterranean Grill (112 East 23 Street, New York). This special event is presented by Terret Entertainment and New York City Greek Film Festival. Suitable for ages 13+
