A Conversation Honoring James Wong Howe

Jun 5, 2022

On June 5, 2022, cinematographers Michael Goi (American Horror Story) and Eric Lin (The Sound of Silence), discussed how the trailblazing James Wong Howe’s legacy influenced their careers in a virtual discussion moderated by MoMI’s Assistant Curator of Film Edo Choi. The discussion took place as part of the Museum’s 19-film tribute to Wong Howe, one of the few Chinese Americans working in the American film industry in a career that ranged from the silent era through the golden age of the studio system and into the mid 1960s.
