Two Titles by Dan Perri

Title sequence designer Dan Perri took a chameleonic approach to his craft, tailoring his aesthetic to the requirements of each film. These two selections set in 1970s New York portray the gritty underworld of a city in decline, and feature title designs by Perri that perfectly set the tone for the unique, compelling stories that follow. These films screen in conjunction with Dan Perri and the Art of the Title Sequence, a new exhibition highlighting Perri’s work over the last five decades.

Dan Perri will participate in a discussion after the screening of Taxi Driver. Ticketholders for The Warriors are welcome to arrive early to attend the talk, starting around 3:30 p.m. if space allows.
