In conjunction with the temporary exhibition Recording the Ride: The Rise of Street-Style Skate Videos, featuring artifacts and moving images from the formative years of American skate culture, MoMI presents a decades-spanning screening series highlighting essential works that reflect the artistic expression of the skate video genre. Encompassing skate videos and feature films, and featuring talks with special guests, this series reveals the breadth and influence of the skate community as it was captured—and captured itself—on screen.
