Reverse Shot Happy Hour: Homemade

May 29, 2020

In 2020, during the first year of the pandemic, Reverse Shot editors Michael Koresky and Jeff Reichert and longtime contributor Farihah Zaman hosted a weekly Happy Hour—an online hangout for informal discussions about the state of cinema, criticism, and culture. BYOB. This week, they spoke with animator/filmmaker Tom Brown, who shows off his handmade harp, and Oscar winners Steve Bognar and Julia Reichert (American Factory). Julia makes pickled onions and the two discussed their next film 9to5: The Story of a Movement.

Reverse Shot is an online film criticism magazine published by Museum of the Moving Image.

Discussions with creative figures in film, television, and digital media—formerly the Pinewood Dialogues—made possible with a generous grant from the Pannonia Foundation.
