Voting Rights Trivia 

Celebrate the essential democratic process of voting with this free trivia event hosted by Drag Ambassador Freeda Kulo!

Questions and discussions will explore voting rights, MoMI’s Living Room Candidate, representations of elections on screen, and the ways new technologies like artificial intelligence and deep fakes impact how candidates are viewed. In partnership with Drag Out the Vote and National Voter Education Week, this event will explore these connections between voting and the moving image. Form teams with your friends and family (6 players max per team) for the chance to win MoMI membership, Museum guest passes, and special prizes, such as stress balls. Local organization Sunnyside Community Services will be available to answer questions on how to register to vote. Recommended for ages 13 and up. 

During the event, food and beverages will be available for purchase at Mon Amour Café.
