Miss Piggy: A Retrospective
Sunday, Oct 6 at 1:00 p.m.
Location: Redstone Theater
With Craig Shemin, President of the Jim Henson Legacy, in person
As we celebrate the career of Frank Oz, we take a look at the life of a superstar in whose success Mr. Oz most certainly had a hand. From her earliest appearances on a Herb Alpert special and The Tonight Show to her meteoric rise to fame alongside her “magnificent obsession” Kermit the Frog on The Muppet Show, Miss Piggy has become one of the most recognizable and beloved personalities in show business. This compilation, which premiered at MoMI in 2015, includes classic moments from the first half of the divine swine’s show business career, including Muppet television shows and feature films, as well as rare clips from variety shows and commercials.
Running Time: Approximately 77 minutes
Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / free for MoMI members at the Senior/Student level and above. There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases. The cost of admission may be applied toward a same-day purchase of a membership.
