Join us for Migrant Nation Reel Stories, a free screening of moving, inspiring documentary shorts about the theme of immigrant resilience directed by filmmakers who reside in New York City. In collaboration with Museum of the Moving Image, this program is organized by Peruvian American filmmaker Erika Gregorio and fellow artists in residence, known as the EIIC Creatives, a program at the Emerald Isle Immigration Center supported by Creatives Rebuild New York and the Artist Employment Program. This is Emerald Isle Immigration Center’s first annual film showcase and community conversation. The presentation includes a screening of short films followed by a conversation with filmmakers, immigrant justice workers, and community leaders. Free with RSVP as seats are limited.
