Suppressus 
Dir. Grant Jones. 2022,19 mins. U.S. Two neuroscientists work to develop a device that regenerates memories blocked out by dissociative amnesia.  

Reverie 
Dir. Kelli Elizabeth Horan. 2023, 11 mins. U.S. In a future where time travel is used as a form of therapy, Imogen grapples with the weight of her troubled past and is allowed to revisit her younger self and confront the experiences that shaped her present self.  

First Time Machine 
Dir. Jay Woelfel, 2023, 18 mins. U.S. African American scientist Dr. Grainger gathers his closest friends to show them his invention: the world’s first time machine. However, one of his friends has hidden, dangerous intentions for traveling back in time. An adaptation of the classic sci-fi short story by Fredric Brown.  

Demon Box 
Dir. Sean Wainsteim. 2023, 14 mins. Canada. A director revises his intensely personal short film about trauma, suicide, and the Holocaust, and transforms it into a painful, blunt, and funny dissection of the film and his life. 

Human Resources 
Director Jay Ness. 2023, 10 mins. U.S. A human resources professional must teach a timid new hire how to perform empathy. As she instructs him through a series of social behaviors, they form an unlikely connection. 

Autopilot 
Dir. Jennifer Zhang. 2022, 17 mins. U.S. A lone pilot on a homebound space vessel finds herself trapped in a waking nightmare when her holographic “virtual companion” begins to defy his own programming. 

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / discounted for MoMI members ($7–$11). There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases. The cost of admission may be applied toward a same-day purchase of a membership.
