Sing-along & Stroll-along with Heather Henson

Join Heather Henson, Joe Hennes (Tough Pigs), and friends to celebrate Jim Henson’s birthday with a musical walking tour through Jim and Jane’s New York City. Bring your homemade puppets, instruments, and don your best Muppet attire (and walking shoes) for a morning full of puppet surprises, singing, and games. Then travel to Museum of the Moving Image for lunch and a presentation by Jim Henson Company Archives Director Karen Falk (with reserved seating).  

Capacity is limited, so tickets will be required. Starting location will be shared with ticket holders ahead of the event. The walk will be around 90 minutes and includes hills and stairs. Tour members will be responsible for their own transportation to the Museum.   

Tour: 9:00–11:00 a.m. 

Lunch: 12:00 p.m. 

Presentation: 1:00 p.m. 

Tickets: $100/$75 for MoMI members. There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases. The cost of tickets may be applied toward a same-day purchase of a membership.
