Community Animation Project: Creature Feature

12:00–6:00 p.m.

Let’s make an animated monster movie together! Visitors of all ages are invited to color animation frames of creatures based on the real science behind monster movies. Choose one of our walk cycle sheets, color your creature, draw a background, and give your creature a friend—or a victim. Then, MoMI will animate the strange and beautiful monsters you create into one longer piece. Check out MoMI’s Instagram and YouTube channels for to see the finished films following the event.  

Join us for this all-ages, all-day coloring party—supplies provided.  

Can’t attend? Download the feathered raptor or twisted wing wasp animation cels, color, and send the completed video or images to [email protected] by June 10 to be included in MoMI’s final community project! When you share your work online, be sure to tag us!
