Based on the true story of legendary Polish hip-hop group Paktofonika, You Are God traces the trio’s meteoric rise during the early post-community era. Equal parts charismatic and volatile, Pakotofonika’s leader Magik redefined the Eastern European rap scene before his abrupt suicide at 23 left a lasting impression on Polish youth. Among its numerous awards, You Are God was selected as best film at the Gdynia Polish Film Festival.
