Dir. Jerzy Stuhr. 2000, 73 mins. 35mm. With Jerzy Stuhr, Anna Dymna, Dominika Bednarczyk. A respectable bank clerk appears in the streets of his town in the company of a camel. The residents are astonished yet welcoming. Gradually, however, their friendliness turns into hostility. Written in 1973, the script was intended to be the feature debut of Krzysztof Kieslowski, but due to protests from the authorities at the time, it was never filmed. It was later discovered in Wiesbaden in 1998 by Janusz Morgenstern, who suggested that Stuhr direct it.
