A Conversation with Jim Campbell
Ongoing
The work of Jim Campbell, a pioneer in the use of digital technology in art, is at once evocative, personal, technologically innovative, and mysterious. In conversation with Steve Dietz, guest curator of the exhibition Jim Campbell: Rhythms of Perception, Campbell will discuss his three-decade career and the ideas and experiences behind his unique artistry. The discussion will include video of some of the pieces in the exhibition, including Motion and Rest, Digital Watch, Letter to a Suicide, Exploded View Commuters, and more. Steve Dietz, who will moderate the hour-long conversation, is the Founder and Artistic Director of Northern Lights.mn, and was the former Curator of New Media at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
Free with Museum admission, which also includes admission to the exhibition Jim Campbell: Rhythms of Perception.
